Asheville Treetops Adventure Park, an exciting Asheville attraction, is an aerial challenge course in the trees that has over 77 unique climbing, rolling, walking, jumping, swinging, and rappelling challenges anchored to over 30 trees and towering poles tucked into a wooded park. There are 7 different adventure trails ranging from beginner to challenging level that allow Park Guests the choice to challenge only the obstacles they feel comfortable with. Choose from our well-marked, single-track woodland dirt trails for a challenging ride, or our flat, paved trail along the French Broad River for a more leisurely ride. Bring your own bike or rent one from us. We offer two primary types of bikes: mountain bikes and hybrid bikes. Trail-a-Bikes (also called tag-alongs) and trailers are also available.
Biltmore’s Bike Barn, located on the second floor of Antler Hill Barn, is your one-stop location for all things biking. Please contact the Bike Barn directly with all rental inquiries. Found ‘Em Fishing was born out of passion. We love the outdoors, plain and simple. We find our serenity there, and we want to share that. A peace that so many have forgotten in their daily lives. For us, there is something meditative about smooth paddle strokes through water, come with us, you’ll see.
Join us on our unique day hikes in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. We offer mindfulness and meditation day hikes where you can disconnect from screens, slow down, and enjoy the gorgeous mountains outside of Asheville, North Carolina. Our guides are highly experienced in both wilderness guiding and meditative practices. We lead group Mindfulness Hikes every Tuesday-Friday from 9a-1p.
Not into meditation? No problem. We also offer private day hikes that suit what you’d like to see and do on your trip. For our group hikes, once you book with us you’ll receive detailed directions of where to meet us at the trail head. Before our hike we’ll spend 10-20 minutes giving you an overview of mindfulness practices and then hit the trail! We’ll take you to local spots leaving the crowds behind, making sure to point out local flora and fauna along the way. Chiesa (Italian for church) is a quaint Italian restaurant featuring generations of family recipes, house-made pasta, and local ingredients. Located in the historic Montford neighborhood, Chiesa (pronounced kee-ay-sa) is housed in a building that has been at the center of the community for over one hundred years, serving as the local grocery store, then as a church, and since 2014, the neighborhood Italian restaurant.
Anam Cara produces experimental theatre that empowers artists, promotes equality, challenges thinking, and transforms community. We provide a safe space for artists and audiences to take risks, grow, and collaborate. In addition to our mainstage season, our experimental ensemble, Accordion Time Machine, produces an original performance every other month.
