Annie’s Bakery is a wholesale bread bakery that crafts high quality artisan bread the old-world way. Our doughs are created with a long fermentation. This process takes 48-72 hours and breaks down the gluten proteins making Annie’s bread easier to digest. Our breads are free from preservatives and additives.
In addition, we use an array of nutritious ingredients such as stone-ground whole wheat and locally milled rye flours, ancient grains, blackstrap molasses, seeds (millet, flax, sesame, and sunflower), and rolled oats.
The end result is great tasting bread that is good for you!

I’m a classically trained pastry chef, and I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for (cough cough) a looong time. That’s where I learned to be so witty. 😉 In 2014 I started making cute little custom cakes for friends and family. Just for fun, because I missed making art, because friends don’t let friends eat a dry cake. Then people started requesting them, paying for them, coming up with crazy ideas. At Cedar Hill Farm we offer full board which includes feeding, clean stalls and daily turn out, (weather permitting). We live on the property very close to the barn. In addition, we offer limited boarding for horses traveling through or vacationing in the Asheville area.

Mark and Becky have studied the methods of Natural Horsemanship through clinics given by Ray Hunt and Tom Curtin. They have also studied Pat Parelli, and practice the method of Natural Horsemanship on their personal horses as well as the horses they board.

Among the first hundred private clubs founded in America, the Country Club of Asheville was established in 1894 as Swannanoa Country Club. Asheville Golf Course is a true gem and one of the oldest courses in Western North Carolina. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this classic layout was designed by famed course architect Donald Ross in 1927 and it accomplishes the difficult double task of being challenging and fun.

The front nine of the par 72, historic course spans 3,246 yards from the back tees. Its scenic design allows for the use of a driver on most holes. Meanwhile, the 3,194 back nine favors accuracy over distance. Although not long by today’s standards, the course proves length does not make a great course.

Since taking over the management of the course, Pope Golf has made great strides in improving the experiences of area golfers and those travelers who have discovered Asheville Golf Course.
