The campground runs along Davidson River, a great place for fishing, tubing, and swimming, and is considered one of the premier trout fishing spots in the southeast. From here you can hike the Art Loeb and North Slope Trails, and right across the street you’ll find all the information you need to recreate in the forest at the Pisgah Ranger Station.  Eclectic Asheville, NC is only 45 minutes away, while Charlotte and Atlanta are only a few hours from this incredible spot. We are only a short distance to Grandfather Mountain, Biltmore House, Chimney Rock and Cherokee Indian Reservations, white water rafting and local ski resorts.

Stay a day; week or month, you will have a peaceful and enjoyable stay with us. We are not a resort, just a family style campground that offers you a friendly and inexpensive place to stay while you visit our lovely mountains. This quiet and family oriented campground has been a family run campground with the sole purpose of providing you a safe and inexpensive vacation in a quiet and relaxing mountain setting.

Mount Pisgah Campground is perched in the rolling mountains of western North Carolina along the famous Blue Ridge Parkway.

Both RV and tent sites are available at this roomy campground. Modern amenities like flush toilets, drinking water and a country store create a comfortable camping experience. Sites come with picnic tables and fire rings, perfect for barbecues and marshmallow roasting. In addition to the 53 sites available for advanced reservation, 72 campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Mt. Pisgah campground is often times full each weekend when the campground is open. Mt. Pisgah Campground advance reservations require a 2-night minimum stay. One-night stays are allowed on first-come, first-served sites

North Mills River Recreation Area is a secluded jewel for camping in NC. Each campsite is only a short stroll from the swift, cool, shallow waters of North Mills River. Swim, tube, or fish for Rainbow, Brook and Brown Trout in a beautiful, forested setting. Within 30 minutes you will find downtown Asheville, NC and Hendersonville. In this area, hiking, camping, fishing and biking are the summer activities of choice!
